Motions (Cont.)

Last night, I posted a pretty vulnerable post...I almost deleted it...I still might...

...But God woke me up with a new hope this morning...

...and a rainbow...

...and a verse.

When I took Dylan to school at 7:45,
there was a rainbow where the sun is
shining. I took a picture when I got home,
but most of the rainbow had faded.

"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore, I will wait for Him." Lamentations 3:22-24

Healing begins when we can be honest with God.
I have been angry with God about my marriage failing, my finances,
the issues with my children, but refused to acknowledge it.
"Stuff" it and it turns to bitterness and you "shut-down".
"Good Christians" don't get angry with God..."

...yet David in the Psalms was one of the most transparent men in the Bible and yet He was called "a man after God's own heart".

~I take a new breath this morning, and breathe in God's hope and His love for me. The rainbow in the sky this morning wasn't there very long, but for it was there long enough for God to speak to me, and reaffirm His love for me.

Heaven,

Something that came to mind is a saying that someone told me a few months back. "When your down to nothing God is up to something." You are under a spiritual attack.

You have been a blessing to so many people through your blog and it's driving the devil crazy. If he can get you to a point where you give up and are no longer at a place where you can minister to others he has you right where he wants you.

You need to rise up and walk with your head held high. You are a child of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He has bought you with a price and you no longer have to walk in defeat. He set you down the path to Victory and it's already been won. Make it a point to no longer just go through the motions. Make this day count. Then tomorrow make it count again. You can do this thing. I'm here for you if you need to talk. You are a blessing to me and I'm so glad that we have each other even if it's across the miles. You hold a dear place in my heart.

Praying for you sweet friend,
Paulette

Hi Heaven, I echo what Paulette just said. DO NOT forget who you are, not because of you but because of him. Would you email me please so we can exchange phone numbers, or at least be in actual contact, not the "party line" type.

Dont delete it. Its good to share how we feel. It makes Satan shutter because he knows he will not defeat you once you confess your feelings. I will pray for you!

Oh my goodness Heaven. Don't delete your post. God gives us friends to help hold our arms up.

Now, go read my Testimony Tuesday post for yesterday. I think it was meant to bless you.

I agree with Edie. And above all keep trying and never give up. We can do it together.

I've been challenged to delete my posts in the past, because I was anxiously worrying about what people would think when they read it. I came out with the "I don't care" attitude that I was going to write what I felt and didn't matter what people thought or said.
It was usually after those posts that someone commented on it and told me exactly what I needed to hear. I think it was God's way of reaching out to me through them since I didn't appear to be listening to him.

Who am I Lord?

1 Chronicles 17:16 Then  King David went in and sat before the Lord, and he said: "Who am I, Lord God, and what is my family, that you...
