Where's your focus?

Are you spending more time
looking in the rear view mirror
at what you have lost...

...or are you looking at the view
ahead of you and what is
yet to come????

God wants you to let the past go...
He has an amazing view ahead!!!

I've heard it said that there's a reason that our front windshield is so much bigger than our rear view mirror in our car...it's analogous to our lives...isn't it?? One time when I was battling the demons of my past...God spoke to me, "There's no past in your future." I've carried that statement with me all these years and continue to rely on that voice when my focus gets distracted!
Bless you sister...praying for you always,

Thanks for this, Heaven.
Yes. I see something.
The weird thing is, somehow I feel like I have more control when I'm looking in the rear view mirror. Like, by looking at what's behind me I can better control where I'm going.
I know I am not in control. I don't want to be. I mess things up when I try to be!
But that's the sense I got in looking at that picture. And I think I need to spend some more time with this thought.

Love you tons!

Amen Heaven!

Great message dear one! Praying for you right now!

It's a good question and a good reminder to always look forward.

Who am I Lord?

1 Chronicles 17:16 Then  King David went in and sat before the Lord, and he said: "Who am I, Lord God, and what is my family, that you...
