I've heard it said that there's a reason that our front windshield is so much bigger than our rear view mirror in our car...it's analogous to our lives...isn't it?? One time when I was battling the demons of my past...God spoke to me, "There's no past in your future." I've carried that statement with me all these years and continue to rely on that voice when my focus gets distracted!
Bless you sister...praying for you always,
Cherie
Thanks for this, Heaven.
Yes. I see something.
The weird thing is, somehow I feel like I have more control when I'm looking in the rear view mirror. Like, by looking at what's behind me I can better control where I'm going.
I know I am not in control. I don't want to be. I mess things up when I try to be!
But that's the sense I got in looking at that picture. And I think I need to spend some more time with this thought.
Love you tons!
Karen
What a simple and yet lovely post!
Amen Heaven!
I often say, forward living. As one who has a lot of pain in the past I had to be healed from; I had to train myself in the WORD and through prayer to live in a forward view of my life in Christ.
Great message dear one! Praying for you right now!
Simple words yet so profound! Thanks for this post, Heaven! Found you on my friend Cherie Hill's blog. You're a kindred spirit! God bless!
It's a good question and a good reminder to always look forward.
