I still believe...

What do you do when you grow
weary or faint from waiting?

Do you cave or do you despair?
Do you begin to question?

Does your faith waver?
Do you begin to blame?

Do you seek Jesus and desire His arms?
Do you run to His embrace?

Will you still believe even though you don't see?
Will you still hope even though you have none?

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is being SURE of what we hope for
and CERTAIN of what we do not see!

Hi Heaven,
I've just enjoyed reading your recent posts on your blog, and I am amazed at how much of what you say resonates with the thoughts I am having at the moment. I have been divorced for a year now, under God's direction, and I am holding on tight to a promise he has made to me of a new marriage, with a particular person. In a way it's flattering that God has given us promises to hold on to that have no material support as yet - he obviously believes we have the faith to see it through, but sometimes it gets a bit hard.

I really admired your public confession of how you had messed up your marriage, and a lot of that resonates with me, although my marriage did not end because of that, but because the marriage vows were horribly broken by my husband some years ago, and I never regained my trust in him and was getting so depressed at times that in the end God pulled me out of it. Praise him!!!!
I'd love to be in touch personally, if that would interest you. Here is my e-mail address: petra@plucien.net.
with love, and prayers that your sweet promise from God begins to manifest materially before too long.
